What information is used and how participation works
- Information used: voucher program or type, issuing housing authority, current and search ZIP codes, search dates, availability responses, application or search outcomes, and other structured voucher-access information entered in Voucher DeskHub.
- Purpose: identify ZIP-level housing-access patterns, improve Voucher DeskHub tools, and support research intended to help current and future Voucher-Holders.
- Potential benefit and risk: the research may improve tools and information for Voucher-Holders, but you may receive no direct personal benefit. The primary foreseeable risk is loss of privacy if information is accessed, combined, or disclosed in an unexpected way.
- Authorized access and retention: access is limited to authorized NSCN personnel and service providers needed to operate and secure the system. Research records may be retained while needed for the stated research, security, and recordkeeping purposes, then deleted or further de-identified where reasonably practicable.
- Identity protection: your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, and uploaded documents are excluded from research analysis, shared research datasets, and public research reporting. Research analysis and reporting use de-identified or aggregated information.
- Limits: no system can guarantee absolute anonymity or security, and ZIP-level information can sometimes be distinctive.
- Your choice: declining keeps Member DeskHub available but prevents Voucher DeskHub activation. You may later request to end participation through Voucher DeskHub Support; ending participation ends Voucher DeskHub access. Previously de-identified, aggregated, or completed research may be retained.
