Co-Creativeship is a permanent creative registry within the NSCN network. Approved participants are listed in the National Artist Index by full name in alphabetical order, so the record stays tied to the person regardless of how their brand, stage name, or creative identity evolves over time.

Each listing may include a full name, creative name, city, art form, and a direct link to your website, portfolio, store, or official page. Participants may also submit a logo for display on the Artist Logo Display page. There is no fee to participate, and you keep full ownership of everything you submit.

Art Submission Guidelines

Participation in the National Artist Index includes one artwork submission that will represent you and your chosen state hub within the NSCN network. Please read the following carefully before applying.

Eligible State Hubs

NSCN is currently accepting submissions representing the following ten state hubs. You do not have to live in or be from the state you choose — artists may submit work representing any one of these hubs regardless of where they are located. Additional state hubs will be added as the network expands.

Submission Requirements

Your submitted artwork must be original and created by you. The work should be inspired by or reflective of your selected state hub; its landscape, culture, history, landmarks, or community spirit. Work may be created indoors or outdoors but must carry a clear and recognizable connection to that state and what it represents. Artwork that does not reflect a listed hub or does not meet submission standards may be returned for revision or removed from consideration.

One Submission Per Artist

Each artist may submit one artwork per index listing. Submissions may be updated during designated review periods announced by NSCN.

What You Get

• Quarterly community voting, with selected work eligible to be featured across NSCN hub pages.

• Protection under the NSCN Second Chance Living Standard. Your personal data is never sold or shared.

Art Supplies is a sponsorship-based marketplace displayed on a dedicated page accessible to every verified artist in the National Artist Index. Sponsors pay a monthly fee to display their business logo, which links directly to their online store, service page, or official website.

Eligibility is limited to businesses that provide products or services artists use to create, produce, display, protect, ship, or distribute their work. By subscribing, your business is publicly recognized as a supporting sponsor of the NSCN creative network. Artists pay nothing. Your logo supports them, and your store serves them. Sponsors are also asked to offer a reduced price or exclusive promo code available only to artists listed in the National Artist Index; a direct benefit that connects your business to a verified creative community.

Sponsor Guidelines

Before applying, please read the following carefully. These are the standards every sponsor agrees to uphold as a condition of participation in the NSCN network.

No Direct Artist Contact

Sponsors may not contact artists listed in the National Artist Index directly to solicit, promote, or advertise products or services. Access to the NSCN network is not an invitation to reach out. All visibility is through the Art Supplies page only. Unsolicited outreach of any kind is grounds for immediate removal.

No Data Sharing or Resale

Artist information obtained through NSCN, including names, contact details, or any identifying information may not be sold, shared, transferred, or used for any purpose outside of the sponsorship relationship. This applies to third parties, marketing platforms, data brokers, and any affiliated businesses.

Active Promo Code Required

Sponsors are required to maintain an active discount or exclusive promo code for artists listed in the National Artist Index for the duration of their sponsorship. This is not optional; it is a condition of participation and a direct commitment to the creative community you are supporting.

Sponsor Standard

Sponsors must provide products or services relevant to artists and creative workers. NSCN may reject or remove any sponsor that misrepresents their offerings, targets artists unfairly, or violates the NSCN Second Chance Living Standard.

Eligible Sponsor Categories

• Art supply retailers and material vendors; paint, canvas, brushes, ink, clay, resin, and related materials.
• Print, reproduction, and merchandise services, including giclée, screen, and large-format printing.
• Custom framing, canvas stretching, and surface preparation services.
• Photography and product imaging for artwork documentation.
• Shipping, packaging, and fulfillment providers for artists selling or exhibiting work.
• Studio, co-working, and creative workspace providers.
• Digital design tools and software for illustration, editing, animation, music production, and creative development.
• Art licensing, copyright, trademark, and intellectual property protection services.
